Hyderabad,Oct 23: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president K Chandrasekhar Rao threatened to launch a ‘Jail Bharo’ agitation on October 29 if the judgement on the free zone issue delivered by the Supreme Court was not corrected with a constitutional amendment.Talking to media persons at TRS Bhavan here on Friday, the TRS chief warned the Chief Minister, K Rosaiah, urging him to rectify the mistake or else the Government will have to face dire consequences.He further demanded that the Government should introduce a resolution in the State Assembly asking the Centre to bring in an amendment on the Hyderabad Free Zone issue.“This is just the beginning of the movement.
There is no end to this struggle,” he said.He called upon all parties, irrespective of affiliations, to fight for the cause of Telangana employees.Launching a scathing attack on the State government, he alleged that there was a conspiracy in losing the case in the Supreme Court so that police personnel from the Andhra region could ‘get control’ over the State capital.He urged the government to pass a resolution in the Assembly so that a constitutional amendment would be made to protect the interests of Telangana employees.
